A culture of vocations to priesthood and consecrated life begins with prayer.  Please join Fr. John Connaughton and the seminarians of the Diocese of Bridgeport to spend an hour with Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration at various parishes throughout the diocese.

Advent Lessons and Carols

All are welcome to join the seminarians of St. John Fisher Seminary, under the direction of Mr. David Hughes, for Lessons & Carols.  It is a fitting way to prepare ourselves and our families for Our Lord's birth on Christmas.  Light refreshments will follow.

St. Andrew Dinners

Throughout the year the Vocations Office arranges for high school-aged men who are considering the possibility that the Lord is calling them to the priesthood to attend a dinner with Bishop Caggiano.  If you are a priest who knows a young man who might have a vocation please contact the Vocations Director, Fr. Ordination to Priesthood

The culmination of each year is the ordination of men to the Sacred Priesthood, in which they are conformed to Christ the High Priest and given the power to administer the sacraments, especially the Eucharist and Reconciliation. Please come and celebrate with the local church of Bridgeport this most sacred and joyous event.
